Organic Statute of CFE Transmisión
The Organic Statute of CFE Transmisión was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation today.
The statute is intended to establish the structure, organization and functions of the areas that make up CFE Transmission and of the executives or staff that will have the representation thereof, as well as the rules for the operation of its Board of Directors.
CFE Transmisión is a Subsidiary Productive Company of the Federal Electricity Commission, with its own legal personality and assets, subject to the central management, strategic direction and coordination of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), in accordance with the provisions of the Law of the Federal Electricity Commission and its Regulation, which aims to generate economic value and profitability for the Mexican State.
CFE Transmisión aims to perform the activities necessary to provide the public service of transmission of electric power, as well as to carry out, among other activities, the financing, installation, maintenance, management, operation and expansion of the infrastructure necessary to provide the public transmission service, in accordance with the provisions of the Law of the Federal Electricity Commission, the Electricity Industry Law, the Terms for Strict Legal Separation of the Federal Electricity Commission and other applicable legal provisions, generating economic value and profitability for the Mexican State as its owner.
