Agreement of the Energy Regulatory Commission Datailing the

Scope and Applicable Obligations to the Marketing Permits

for Contractors of Hydrocarbon Exploration and Extraction

The Energy Regulatory Commission issued the Agreement No. A/019/2017, which states the scope and applicable obligations to the marketing permits granted to oil exploration and extraction contractors, in the shared or license production modalities.

 

 

In this sense, those who intend to commercialize in the Mexican territory the hydrocarbons obtained under a exploration and extraction contract, must request and obtain from the Energy Regulatory Commission a marketing permission regarding the following:

 

  • The payment of the related duties and rights;
     

  • The delivery of the volume report sold by contract in compliance with resolution RES / 882/2015, every six months instead of monthly, and
     

  • The compliance of the Article 49 of the Hydrocarbons Law, regarding to relations with persons who are part of the same business group or consortium.
